Storage Solution

I volunteer for an organization that has a small TV show that is seen online and in a few markets. They have about 6-8 TB of data per year that needs to be backed up. Recently one of their hard disks failed and they had no backup.

They asked me to help research a solution to backup their data. I am thinking Raid 1 would be good so that another hard drive failure would not be a disaster. I would like to implement a Linux storage solution. Can anyone point me in the right direction on what hardware/software I will need?

I was looking at these:

I would like hot swappable hard drives if possible so that they could be unmounted and stored away and replaced by fresh hard drives at any point.

I don't know a lot about them, how they hook up to a Linux computer etc... Any ideas or help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
