zero-length partition fc16

hi guys;

after interrumping (ctrl c) a fsck :-( i am getting this error:

Code:

Attempt to read block from filesystem resulted in short read while trying to open /dev/sdc1

Could this be a zero-length partition?

i've tryied to recover my superblock from different backup places:

Code:

540  e2fsck -b 8193 /dev/sdc1

  e2fsck -b 98304 /dev/sdc1

  e2fsck -b 163840 /dev/sdc1

  e2fsck -b 229376 /dev/sdc1

  e2fsck -b 294912 /dev/sdc1

but always i got the same error:

Code:

e2fsck 1.41.14 (22-Dec-2010)

e2fsck: Attempt to read block from filesystem resulted in short read while trying to open /dev/sdc1

Could this be a zero-length partition?

may somebody help me ?

regards in advance!

hector
